A candidate forum will be held on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:00 PM in the P
erformance Room of the new Glacier High School north of Kalispell. Enter a
t the South door by the flagpole. From 6:00 - 6:30 pm members of the publi
c will meet with the candidates on a one-on-one basis. Candidates for Flath
ead county commissioners will take questions starting at 6:30 p.m. There w
ill be a short break at 7:30 during which a troupe of young dancers from Dr
eam Dancers will perform for your enjoyment. At 7:45 pm. candidates for lo
cal seats in the legislature will take the stage. The candidates will spea
k briefly and then MFMU will ask the first question. The remaining questio
ns will be compiled from written questions from the audience. The forum wi
ll wind up with brief remarks from the candidates who are unopposed in the
primary election.
